Colette loves Red Yarn

We are very fortunate to have a number of talented family performers here in Portland. Colette’s favorite one is called Red Yarn. He performs weekly with his critter friends (puppets) and the youngins love him!

This little video is from a show we went to a couple of weeks ago:

And this one is her dancing to his album at home:

The other day she insisted that I repeat the first track of the album and I think we listened/danced to it at least 20 times!

Cute! Red Yarn comes to Peri’s daycare once a month and she loves him too. When and where do you guys see him-Miss Pizza? We should try to meet you sometime. Also did you make that dress she’s wearing?

    1. Kristin says:

We see him Wednesday mornings at the Village Ballroom. We could try Mississippi Pizza sometime though! And yes, I did make the dress. Same pattern as that one Beth made for Pearl last year. I love the finished product and, thankfully, so does Colette!

I like Red Yarn almost as much as I love watching Colette dance to the music! Can we catch a concert while I am there? I would love to dance along! Colette you got very lucky in teh Mommy Lottery!
    Happy Momma’s Day Kristin!

He plays Wednesday mornings, so we can go to a concert on your last day here if you want. Or we can always dance to Red Yarn at home. We have daily dance parties at Casa Kuzda!

    I love it!

Reminds me a little of a really funny episode of “Two and a half Men” where we’re introduced to Charlie Waffles. Played of course by the misogynistic womanizer and jingle writer Charlie Harper.

Some of his big hits included:
    Wet Sheets in the Morning
    From Diaper to Wiper
    The Booger Boogie
    Who Cut the Cheese?
    Kiss My Owie
    Rush to Flush
    Don’t Shake the Baby
    Feed It to the Dog
    Bye Bye Boobies
Grandma May Smell Funny, But She’s Rich!
Who Barfed in the Fish Bowl?
    Potty Time
    I Like Corn
    The Peepee Song
The Cat Can’t Swim, And Don’t Bite the Puppy
    Mommy’s Little Happy Pill
    Weekend Daddy
    When Mommy and Daddy Wrestle

    1. Kristin says:

Hahaha…I remember seeing that a long time ago!
